Aloe Vera

Fruits and Veggies

Beans

Beans are another power-house when it comes to getting iron into your system by way of protein.  Legumes like lentils and kidney beans are perfect to add to your diet because of the health benefits that can be seen from protein and iron.


Coconut Oil

You will need about a tablespoon each of honey and onion juice.  You may need more or less depending on the current thickness and length of your hair.  Mix these together well, and then massage them into your hair roots and scalp.  This will help with not only hair loss, but can also help with dandruff. 


Licorice Root

If you try buying your favorite red licorice for this one, you are on the wrong track.  Licorice root is different from the candy that you enjoy.  Licorice root has been used for many years as a treatment for irritated and dry skin.  It can help to soothe your scalp, deal with scabs and dandruff that you might be suffering from in addition to your hair loss.  If you purchase an oil or elixir for your hair, you will want to be sure that you follow the directions for application to your skin.  You may need to cut down the strength with water or apply it directly.  Every manufacturer might be different.  You can also drink licorice tea to see the benefits.

Lettuce

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of those things that can be used for so many household tasks and chores.  Now, you can add it to your bathroom regimen.  There are several benefits that can come from rinsing your hair with apple cider vinegar.  It will help to balance the pH of your hair and scalp.  It will help to seal your hair cuticle.  It will encourage new hair growth from follicles that may be clogged due to flakes.  It can strengthen your hair roots.  It will act as a natural detangler if you have longer hair.  It will also help with itchy, dry scalp, or dandruff.  You will want to use one cup of water, and two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar after you wash your hair.  It is important to rinse it out well and make sure that it doesn’t get into your eyes as it will sting.


Eggs

You can also use an egg on your hair to help with hair loss as it is packed with protein. You can just apply some beaten egg yolk to your scalp and hair.  Keep it in your hair for about a half hour before washing it out with cold water.  This can be done weekly to help with your hair loss.
